Days of Silence and Seasonal Retreats
One Saturday a month, ZCB/Clare Sangha offers a Day of Silence (zazenkai)at Holy Trinity Spiritual Center, Pikesville, Md. The practice day is from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and consists of alternating periods of seated and walking meditation, coffee/tea and rest breaks, and lunch. The teacher gives a dharma talk and holds optional private interviews.
Beginning instruction is offered to newcomers, after which they may join in community practice until lunch, or for the rest of the day. Please bring your lunch. Beverages are provided. Suggested donation is $15.
ZCB/Clare Sangha also holds seasonal retreats (sesshin) in winter, summer and autumn. Here is our schedule of zazenkai, sesshin, and other training events in 2008:
